ZAZ Slavuta
Slavuta is five-door car. Due to usage of “liftback” type body with elongated roof line and rounded contour of hood and trunk lid, turn indicators on headlamp with increased rounding radius from 20 to 50 mm and also rejection of rain channels above doors not only a complete image of car was created, but also streamline was improved, luggage compartment volume was increased, loading height was lowered up to 60 cm and dirtying of rear glass in rainy weather was decreased.
“Slavuta” is produced with 5-door “liftback” type body. It makes possible independent boarding of all passengers and easy access to the luggage. Wide rear door opening gives free access to spacious luggage compartment. “Slavuta” has quite large for its class trunk which can be used to the maximum as spare wheel location was moved to engine compartment. Rigid shelf separates passenger compartment and luggage compartment. It can be lifted when tail gate is open and completely removed when rear seats are unfolded. There are loudspeakers of built-in audio system on both sides of rigid shelf. As all cars of “Tavria” family “Slavuta” has transformable rear seats which allow effective usage of luggage compartment and rear part of passenger compartment for long cargo transportation. Moreover trunk floor line and unfolded seat backs make up plane cargo area, which can be used as berth during long trips.
Installation of more powerful engines with 1.2 l and 1.3 l displacement and 58 and 66 hp capacity and also modification of main gear ratio from 3.87 to 4.13 make easer car driving at take-off with full load, during overtaking or upgrading and reduces number of gear shifting and time of maneuver. “Slavuta” consumes slightly more than 8 l of petroleum per 100 km and 5.8 l per 100 km on highway! At the same time engine feed system is well thought-out and perfectly adapted to the quality of petrol produced domestically. No matter where you fill petrol the engine of your “Slavuta” will work reliably. And that is also ensured by modern computer control module which makes possible to optimize ignition system parameters in very wide range and minimize the influence of octane value of petrol to final engine power.
Passenger compartment is trimmed with modern safe polymer materials complying with the latest standards. Passenger compartment trim actively suppresses sun glints and driver doesn’t get tiered very easily on bright sunny day. Trim colors give a feeling of cosiness and comfort to passengers and driver. Passenger compartment trim actively resists vibration in wide range of audio frequency and additionally reduces noise level.
