Solemn ceremony of announcing the results and rewarding the winners of the National Automotive Rating - «Atorating 2009» - took place on February 4.

Organizer of the National Automotive Rating «Avtorating 2009» is the Club of Automotive Journalists of Ukraine. «Avtorating 2009» defined the leaders of cars' sales in 2009 by nominations based on the official statistics data about the first registration of cars in Ukraine. According to the Regulations of event models, for which maximum quantity of registrations was fixed in 2009, independently of the date of their official sales start, are considered to be the winners in the nominations.

Winners of the National Automotive Rating - «Autorating 2009»:

Absolute leader of sales- ZAZ Lanos ( AvtoZAZ-service)
Leader of sales in small class - ZAZ 1103 (AvtoZAZ-service)
Leader of sales in compact class - ZAZ Lanos (AvtoZAZ-service)
Leader of sales in luxury class - Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse (AvtoCapital)
Leader of sales in minivans - Kia Carens (Falcon-Avto)


Contest «Avtorating» is held for the second time. Cars, officially sold in Ukraine since January 1 till December 31, 2009, participated in the contest nominations. Cars, for which Ukrainian motor-car enthusiasts "voted by their purse", became the prize-winners - absolute leader of sales and leader of sales in different classes.
