ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION

The production is arranged by the principle of running lines, using the system of overhead and slat floor conveyers. “Lanos”, “Slavuta” and “Tavria Pickup” cars are assembled simultaneously with the rate of 32 cars per hour. Every two minutes during 8 hours a ready-made car runs off the conveyer here, i.e. 240 cars per shift.

New conveyer line and equipment, being used for assembly, are universal ones, that allows to adapt easily the shop for assembly of new car models.

Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant manufactures 5 models of passenger cars under ZAZ brand by full-scale production method. Part of the component parts – powertrains, fittings, seats, plastic parts – are manufactured in the company. The rest are provided by vendor companies, more than 80% of which are located in Ukraine.
